Located on the Cains River approximately 10 km from the Main Southwest Miramichi River. 19 km off pavement on a well maintained dirt road. 5 km of wilderness trails. Built in the 50's this is a very well maintained camp, known by many as The Queen of The Cains. Escape to nature from all the hustle and bustle. Imagine enjoying a hot tub on the patio, lounging with friends on outdoor seating, or heading out for a swim in the river. Perhaps it's a friendly game of washer toss, smores by the fire pit, or early morning fishing excursion?

Pictures do not do this place justice! It was more than we imagined it to be - with picturesque views, the most charming cabin and everything you could need for a weekend getaway. It is a well maintained property, with so much charm. Check in was easy with a friendly face welcoming you. Thank you so much sharing this property!

We reserved this amazing place for a getaway with friends. Very comfortable and had a blast. We were planning to go tubing but decided to stay there since the river was very accessible.

We had an amazing experience staying at this beautiful property! From the moment we arrived, the building and the surrounding grounds were absolutely stunning. The host was incredibly welcoming and took the time to provide detailed instructions on how to operate everything, which was particularly helpful since the property is powered by propane and solar. We had zero issues with either energy source during our stay.We were traveling as a large group, and we were really impressed by how well the property was equipped. There was more than enough glassware (wine glasses, champagne flutes, coffee mugs) and ample table settings — something we often struggle with when traveling in large groups.We came prepared with supplies, as we were far from stores, but were pleasantly surprised to find that the rental was stocked with plenty of essentials like bath tissue, paper towels, a first aid kit, and even some basic medications. It made our stay that much more comfortable.We highly recommend this location to anyone looking for a peaceful, beautiful retreat. We’re already planning our next visit!
