About this cabin rental
Bridge Builder cabin is our roomy, two-level facility that sleeps a total of 21 people and can feed up to 60 people with two large kitchens, five bedrooms and five bathrooms. The upper level is handicap accessible and has forced air and lower-level radiant heat and air conditioning. Bridge Builder is available to rent year-round!
Located in Lac du Flambeau, Wisconsin we are 6 hours from Chicago, 4 hours from the Twin Cities, 3 hours from Madison and 12 miles from Minocqua, Wisconsin.
Bridge Builder Cabin is great for family reunions, gatherings of friends, or for an organizational retreat venue.
The upper level includes a mudroom, great room with a fireplace, kitchen with dishwashers, deck, two bathrooms, and two bedrooms. The standard upper-level bedroom has a twin over double bunk and one twin bed and sleeps four people. The master bedroom has a queen bed that sleeps two people.
The lower level includes a laundry room with a washer and dryer, family room, screened-in porch, kitchen, three bathrooms with one bathtub, and three bedrooms. Each bedroom has two twin over double bunks and sleeps six people (two sleep on the bottom bunk and one sleeps on the top bunk).
There is also a campfire pit overlooking the lake with your own boatdock on Big Crooked Lake which is nearly 400 acres. During the summer you can bring your own boat or use one of ours.
Summer usage includes use of canoes, kayaks, rowboats, paddleboards and sailboats on a first come, first serve basis.
The fall leaf season on 394 acre Big Crooked Lake is nothing short of spectacular! Stay with us and enjoy our scenery, trails and kayaks or use us as a base to explore some of the other fall foliage near us.
Our winter season includes the usage of our cross-country skis, snowshoes, ice skates, and unlimited use of our tubing hill. We are also close to some of the best snowmobile trails in Wisconsin.
Bridge Builder Cabin is part of YMCA Family Camp Nawakwa that will be celebrating our 100th anniversary in 2024. Our prop[erties are designed for families, friends, couples or individuals who are looking for a quiet Northwoods experience.
