The state of the apartment was a disappointment.

The apartment itself was nice on the surface and could have been so much more. The location and neighborhood were great. The apartment is very near supermarkets and metro stops.

It was a disappointment from the beginning. Personal effects left in two of the closets that we could not move elsewhere, one of the toilets did not work, the freezer was full of ice cream treats with a note requesting us to not touch, the pots and pans all needed cleaned, the water filter container was not cleaned and had condensation in it. In addition, there was no response regarding early entry until right before we needed it. It cost 45 Euros but we found the apartment in the state described. I requested a refund of the 45 Euros to make up for the above, was told it would be investigated and never received an answer. This was an otherwise fine apartment that could have been so much better.

The directions from the gate to the room can be sequenced better (i.e., providing access codes to the gate, then access to the first door and lockbox then access to the apartment and where things can be found in the apartment (wifi access, supplies etc.)
