We had a good stay at this hotel. The staff was very friendly, spoke good English and happy to help out with practicalities. The room was large and comfortable. There was good airconditioning.

There was a bath with a hand shower and no way to hang the hand shower on the wall, so difficult to wash your hair.

Nice modern hotel near the commercial area of Dushanbe. Helpful staff, good breakfast. Nice common area with pool/billiards, chess, books etc.

The rooms were clean, nicely renovated and well maintained. The bathroom and toiletries were good. Breakfast was not extensive, but it was tasty and sufficient. Special thanks to Alim, who was friendly, helpful and communicated very well. Housekeeping and breakfast staff were also good.

The main issue was the lack of backup for essential utilities. We arrived during a power outage in very hot weather, with no air conditioning, and later the water was also cut off, leaving us unable to shower. External outages can happen, but a hotel should have a reasonable contingency plan. A nearby hotel was operating with a generator during the same outage. Service was also inconsistent. A receptionist suddenly enforced a no-outdoor-shoes rule in a rude and confrontational way. If such a policy exists, it should be clearly communicated from check-in, visibly stated and consistently applied. Staff also knocked for non-urgent maintenance despite a Do Not Disturb sign while my wife was sleeping. I specifically asked to speak with management during our stay, when the problems could still be resolved, but management contacted me only after checkout. At that point, the opportunity for meaningful service recovery had already passed. The room also lacked some useful basics such as a refrigerator, kettle and telephone to reception.
