This apartment is in a great location - easy access to the city centre, with lots of places to shop, eat and drink nearby - there’s something for everyone. The street itself is quiet and green. Although you’re on a higher floor, the air is a bit fresher and there’s a little less noise. Worth remembering you’re in someone’s home, which gives the apartment a little more character and avoids having generic, dull furniture and layout.
It was a little awkward using the keys to open the lock at first, and the broken window pane at the front door was a bit unsettling, but otherwise no trouble. Would have been nice to have some recommendations for local shops, restaurants and places of interest, since the owner is clearly local to the area. The kitchen equipment was a bit inconsistent.

Gute Lage, alles da, schöne Gaststätten in der Nähe
Die Wohnung wird sonst wohl eigengenutzt, man fühlt sich ein bisschen als fremdling

The apartment is quite spacious and clean and with all mentioned facilities, the location very convenient to connect bus and subway, central railway station is about 1.9km away, it's quite easy to find grocery stores and restaurants nearby. We have known the apartment is on 4th floor and without lift, so we picked our luggage up there with stairs.
Even with washing machine, there is no laundry powder or liquid offered. The host required us to take off shoes and put them out of the door, this is unusual.
