Villa Reha Private Pool - Castro by HDSalento

Spotlessly clean and modern property, very well maintained and equipped. Good location between the old town and the port area for sightseeing and restaurants. Nice open views over the village towards the castle and the sea. Nice small plunge pool on patio. Nice touch with the welcome bottle of wine, water and juice.

The access for car parking through the automatic gate was awkward and entailed someone slowing down traffic on the road to allow reversing of the car into the small driveway. More comfortable chairs on the lower patio required and some shade from the sun on the upper balcony needed. Sheets on the bed in the downstairs bedroom facing the pool need to be replaced, they were clean but distinctly faded and worn.

Lovely property - very spacious and 2 good size bedrooms. Modern. Wonderful patio with views. Furnished to a good standard. An easy walk in to the village or down to the marina. We didn’t use the pool - weather was unseasonably cold when we were there. You might want to ask about heating it at the initial introduction - when I asked on our last day, it was going to take too long to heat. The pool cleaner never arrived either during the week. Got the impression it might be costly to heat and they were not wanting us to use it.

Galley kitchen a bit tight at times but well equipped. The parking space is a bit tight too. Nice to be able at the property though.
