The room was large, comfortable, and clean. There was good AC and WiFi, with nice shower and bathroom facilities. A shared microwave and fridge were available. The common space was cute and well taken care of. Dinner was amazing!

An absolute gem. Such a warm welcome, a delicious dinner (one of the best we had in Shikoku). We were made to feel right at home. Everything was clean and comfortable and the common seating/eating area was really nice. A traditional layout with authentic features but with a modern enough feel to be comfortable with all the facilities we could need
Tomoko was a fantastic host, helpful, welcoming and warm and enthusiastic. Her flash cards to help communicate were a great idea. She was responsive and helpful in advance of arriving.
If you have a car, there is a lovely onsen about a 10 minute drive up the valley. It’s a straight route behind the village up into the hills and the road goes through pretty countryside and villages. Worth the detour for a soak!
