Ahern Hotel and Event Center

So I stayed here for two nights and I had a good experience. The room was quiet since I was on the top floor and I slept well. Room was clean and the entire facility seemed that way as well. Staff was helpful when needed. Location is close enough to a bus stop which is also nice if you want to hit the strip or downtown. Also, the food in the downstairs restaurant where you can claim your included breakfast was great.

First stay was 7 days and perfect so stayed here again 5 nights. It's the best hotel. Easy to get delivery/mail, chipper employees who value their guests, prompt service, quiet comfortable clean rooms with good views. This time there was a need for a room change though, a small but major cleanliness issue that was missed, and staff suggested a room change and inspected the next room to ensure it was good, and the next room was perfection. Love the firm furniture and bed, desk, cleanliness, coffees/waters, and TV channels. Last time I removed a star for location/facilities because the pool is shallow/small and because MLK blvd is a bit sketchy nearby, but the other direction is near the Deuce stop on the Strip. But it is just so much better than many of the other hotels in Vegas and they are doing everything right here, so I am leaving a perfect 10 rating this time even though there was need for a room change. I like the rooms here so much and would absolutely recommend staying here if cleanliness, comfort, great staff/service, and value are important to you. It's not as iconic as some hotels in the area, but those ones are all being mismanaged decreasing the quality of the guest experience. I feel safe and comfortable at Ahern. It's also better than any Airbnb around. Ahern has actually given me faith that some businesses out there are still being run properly.

Our stay at Ahern Hotel was outstanding from start to finish. The entire property was exceptionally clean and well maintained. The room was spotless, the sheets smelled fresh and clean, and every area we visited was immaculate. The lobby was beautiful, welcoming, and created a great first impression. The staff was professional, friendly, and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. It's clear that great care is taken to maintain high standards throughout the hotel. We were very impressed with the comfort, cleanliness, and overall atmosphere. We highly recommend Ahern and look forward to staying here again in the future. Five stars all around!

I liked the hotel's cleanliness. But the gym was a disaster (just one dumbbell, not even a pair). Pool was small. However, my main regret point was the location. It's 10 min to bus station and 30 min to go either downtown or the main part of the strip.
