We have stayed in Canaima before - including when it was an Adults-Only hotel - and appreciate the location & facilities, so we're happy to return.
Dani provides good info in advance regarding arrival & is quick to respond to text queries.
On this occasion we arranged an airport transfer through him for a good rate.
Now that the complex has changed to individual, private, apartments, it maintains an older clientele & quiet atmosphere, which we enjoy. This is NOT Club 18-30!
The pool area is nice & has rules such as no inflatables, so it's generally a very calm & quiet place.
The apartment is geared towards self-sufficiency, so it has catering facilities & a washing machine, but it's a fair warning - because some people will be surprised - that there's no cleaner during your stay, you change your own bedlinen & towels & provide your own supplies such as soap & toilet tissue.
The apartment would benefit from features in hotels such as a safe.
As others have mentioned, the location is up the side of the valleyi, so is challenging if you have mobility issues.

Tökéletes elhelyezkedés, óceán és a shopping center (éttermek, boltok) közelsége, szép, otthonos, tágas apartman. Szép kilátással, nagy terasszal.
