I loved everything.

I liked the apartment very much, it was only sad that I’d booked it only for 3 nights, so I definitely will need to come back! The apartment has a great location: it is very easy to reach from the main station. The old city (with all of its shops, cafes and restaurants) is just a few steps away (about 4 min walk). There is a big mall in front of the apartment (2 min walk) and a grocery store just round the corner. The area around felt very safe even when coming back late at night. It was very easy to find the apartment following the professional and detailed instructions from the host. When I got into the apartment, I immediately liked it: it looked exactly like in the pictures! Very modern, cozy, clean and full of light! It is not very big, which was perfect for me but may be a bit small for a couple, however, you don’t stay indoors when travelling. The apartment is fully equipped should you decide to cook, but I prefer to eat out when on vacation, so I used none of the cooking amenities. The bed was comfortable, the linen and towels were fresh and very nice, the blanket was warm enough. The bathroom was not very large either, but well-equipped and comfortable to use; there were some toiletries, so no need to bring yours. The shower was warm, and the water pressure was strong enough. The wifi was stable and good enough for video conferencing! what else would one need? What I found especially amazing was a brochure carefully and thoughtfully prepared by the host where, in addition to the house rules, you can find a lot of recommendations on tourist attractions and dining options, it’s like you have your own city guide – such a caring personal touch! I followed some of the dining recommendations, and those were TOP! I would also note very professional communication with the host who replied very quickly and provided additional recommendations that I asked for – thank you very much, Yuliia and Lionel! Thanks to you, I had a great time in your wonderful city!

Probably, the stairs, yes, it was not easy to carry my suitcase upstairs, but I had read about it, and I needed to do it only once. All the other times were a kind of sports replacement for me! Though for elderly people, walking so many flights of stairs may be hard.

5th floor, no Elevators...

Ligging. Aan de overkant een grote Parkeergarage met mogelijkheden om auto op te laden.

Het is op de 5e verdieping. Hoge verdiepingen, dus 100 treden. Er is geen lift. Geen airco. Wel een ventilator. Het is allemaal erg basic. De keuken is niet als keuken te gebruiken. Hoogstens om n soepje op te warmen. Dat is ook te zien op de foto’s, overigens.
