Lake Metung - Modern Lake House Escape

That it was next to a very nice beach.

There was a lot of cob webs.

Beautifully presented and appointed home with everything we needed. Easy walk alongside the waters edge into Metung.

The location and the vibe of the property was so nice, accommodating for families, child safe and friendly

It was not very clean like dishes in the pantry, especially plates still had food residue on them and some cups, some where chipped, also the outside barbecue was rusty and one of the rules was you can’t cook any seafood in inside and although there was a barbecue outside, it was all rusty and you can’t cook the seafood, if you want to cook it outside, also the coffee machine needed to be de-scaled and cleaned out and the skylight in the bathroom had mould and spiderwebs

Open living space, location

Lots of the furniture was poor quality and flimsy - we were scared to sit on the deck benches, the kids bunk area was clearly once a linen cupboard and was extremely uncomfortable for them, we were short a towel (lucky we brought beach towels), the dryer didn’t appear to be hooked up, the washing machine struggled to work.
