We had a very enjoyable stay and would happily recommend this accommodation. The location is fantastic. The view towards the mountains is beautiful, and the drive through the forest to the house has a wonderful atmosphere that immediately helps you relax. It was also an excellent base for exploring the Salzburg area. One of the highlights for our children was the horses. They loved watching them every day, and it really added something special to our stay. The apartment itself is modern, spotless, and clearly designed with great care. Everything felt high quality, from the furnishings to the equipment. Even the sofa deserves a mention—it was exceptionally comfortable both as a sofa and as a bed, which is not something you often find. The owners were also wonderful hosts. They were very friendly, always happy to switch to English whenever my German wasn’t good enough, and we enjoyed several pleasant chats during our stay.

There are only a few things that, in our opinion, could make an already great place even better. First, some of the windows don’t have mosquito screens. We understand that this preserves the unobstructed view, but during our stay quite a few mosquitoes came inside and bit several members of our family. Personally, we would much prefer opening a window with a removable or openable mosquito screen than dealing with mosquitoes indoors. Second, some of the living room windows don’t have blinds or another way to darken the room completely. Since our children were sleeping there, the extra light in the evening made it a little harder for them to fall asleep. Finally, although the parking area is spacious and convenient, the gravel surface becomes surprisingly noisy whenever cars arrive or leave. With the windows open at night, the sound carries quite a lot. Replacing it with a quieter surface would likely improve the experience, although we appreciate that this would be a much larger investment. One additional thing to be aware of is that the neighbouring property has a rooster. If you enjoy sleeping with the windows open in summer, you’re likely to hear it early in the morning. It wasn’t a major issue for us, but future guests who are light sleepers may appreciate knowing this.

Skøn beliggenhed i gå afstand fra byen. Pragtfuld udsigt, dejligt tempereret inde og gode fælles faciliteter. Lejligheden havde et veludstyret køkken, så man nemt kunne lave mad. Meget søde og imødekommende værter, som man let kan komme i kontakt med.
