The location was quite good—there was a bus stop within walking distance, which made getting around convenient
I was disappointed to be charged €10 extra for arriving just 20 minutes after the stated check-in time (12:20 AM, while check-in was until 12:00 AM). While I understand fees for late checkout, charging extra for slightly late check-in—especially at such a late hour—felt unfair, particularly since this additional cost wasn’t clearly mentioned in the booking details. It came across as a hidden fee.
I also tried reaching out to Booking.com for support but couldn’t find any effective way to raise this issue, which added to the frustration. This experience has left me dissatisfied, and I hope clearer communication and more transparent policies are ensured in the future.
