Where to start... Even having read the excellent reviews online, the property exceeded our expectations. What literally makes this property stand head and shoulders above the others are the three levels of roof terraces. If one wants the warm morning sun, the lowest is protected from the sea air. For a brilliant day enjoying a view of the port and staying cool even under the hottest sun, the covered top terrace had a marvelous breeze coming in all day long and was our preferred spot. For lying in the sun, the third terrace (still facing that beautiful port view) is uncovered and great for lying out. The house itself is wonderful (as long as you're careful on all the stairs). Sunset was amazing! The kitchen is fully equipped, so if one wants to cook rather than go out, everything is at hand. Having two full bathrooms is a luxury, and everything was spotlessly clean and fully functional. The house is a 5 minute walk from the town center, with a large selection of restaurants and services. Right behind the house are two small but well-stocked supermarkets, and on some mornings there is a market on the port side. Having the private (and protected) parking spot was wonderful for keeping a rental car safely parked. Street parking even in June can be difficult to find, I can't imagine staying in Porto Cesareo in high season without a dedicated parking spot. Check-in and check-out were lovely- we were given options that met our travel itinerary perfectly. We will always remember our marvelous vacation time at this beautiful property!

Having a sun-bed or two to use on the terraces would have been the icing on the cake.
