Lovely apartment, great location and fantastic views from the spacious terrace!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Apartment Ecru. The property is clean and spacious, light and airy, and is fully equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. We especially loved the large terrace with its amazing views of the sea. Dedicated parking space was very handy, although we opted to take the bus into Dubrovnik Old Town (No 6 bus stop approx seven minute walk from the apartment), which was a convenient 10 minute ride away. As mentioned in previous reviews, the steps to and from the beach/Lapad are not for the faint-hearted! Would highly recommend as a fantastic alternative to staying in the city centre and would love to return!

The Location was fine. A bus stop was near.

If you have a car it would be fine. Otherwise you need to be fit to negotiate the steps etc.. Would be difficult to do much self catering as only one small shop in the vicinity.

Lovely apartment in a quiet location with great views!

Lovely living area and beautiful terrace- great views of the beach and sea. Had everything we needed.

Main bedroom is small- cramped kitchen area (especially the sink). It didn’t bother me, but people should be aware that the property is at the top of a steep hill- over 300 steps down to the beach.

Very, very enjoyable, in-part the apartment and also surrounding area - would highly recommend.

Very nice apartment, with exceptional views from the terrace - however, with exceptional views comes a lot of steps (est. 312) to the apartment from Lapad! But it's a hilly area, so just expect it. Very quiet, and cool with decent air con. Host was very accommodating, brought us a parasol, organised an airport transfer, etc.

We found the wi-fi connection not the best, near the router and you were generally okay, but in the bedrooms sometimes it dropped out (further from the router). One thing I would suggest is a little welcome pack, explaining how to get on the wi-fi, and the hot water (this is fine unless you accidently turn off a switch by the bathroom), where the nearest supermarket is, etc. These are all minor, (but pack/or even laminated PDF would be useful).
