Apartamento Bellamar

The apartment has a great location, just on the beach in a calm area, with not a lot of tourists around (mainly locals). The apartment is big, well-equipped, and has a big living room with a nice view of the sea. Good restaurants are around (one just in front) with fantastic local food to taste. A Carrefour supermarket is in 5 minutes walk and on Friday morning there is a local market in the parking lot of Carrefour with super tasty local fruits and vegetables. Near there is a public playground for kids and a well-maintained free open-air gym. The apartment has 4 bedrooms, one with its own bathroom, and there is another bathroom to be shared by the rest of the guests in the other 3 rooms. The room with a bathroom is the biggest, 2 rooms are small-medium, and the last room is small with a window to an interior building wall view (though this was the quietest and coolest room of the house). Lots of utensils in the kitchen, even some spices available and the owner left us some sweets, watermelon, and beers as a welcome gift. Air conditioning was functioning well, although it was not needed because the apartment was not overheating during the day. As a pleasant surprise, there were not a lot of mosquitoes in the evening, and the bedrooms were anyway well equipped with mosquito nets and electric mosquito repellents. The owner requested a 150€ deposit fee in cash upon arrival that was returned within a few days after departure through transfer. Overall, we stayed for 2 weeks and enjoyed our holiday in this apartment.

Communication with the owner was difficult as she does not speak English or French. Luckily, one lady in our group was speaking Spanish. I found it very strange that after booking the apartment, the owner contacted me to cancel my booking and book directly with her for a reduction of 200€ in the total price. When arriving, it was difficult to locate the entry in the building as the instructions were not precise. On the door of the building was written 7 bis, but this number was not communicated to us. The owner had to come to pick us up from the street to identify the building. The apartment is on the first floor of the building. After entering the apartment, we noticed that the wifi was not working. We complained immediately, and after a lot of exchanges with the owner (and messages through booking.com as well), somebody from the owner's family was available to come to fix it. We stayed though, for 4 days, without wifi and TV network connection in the apartment. Netfix, although advertised, was not available. Nights were a bit noisy, with lots of people outside speaking loudly at 2 am or the workers from a construction building in front at 6 am. Earplugs worked well to diminish this issue. Suggestions for improvements in the apartment: - fix the door of the bathroom belonging to the bedroom, as it was extremely difficult to open or close. - replace the towel hooks or toilet paper holders in the bathrooms, as they are not of good quality or are missing.

Lo que más nos gustó del alojamiento fue la amplitud del alojamiento y por supuesto la ubicación de este.

Está frente al mar , y la zona muy tranquila y agradable

El piso es amplio, precioso, bien decorado, cómodo, las camas muy confortables y las vistas desde la cocina-comedor preciosas. Un lujo desayunar viendo el mar. Tiene todo lo necesario para cocinar. También ascensor y WiFi. Pudimos aparcar en la puerta todos los días. Carmen, la propietaria fue muy amable y el contacto con ella rápido y sencillo. Nos hizo muchas recomendaciones.

Nos ha gustado mucho en general. Por decir algo de primeras no nos gustó demasiado la idea de recoger las llaves en otra dirección sin ver a la propietaria pero el lugar estaba cerca en coche y el trámite fue muy rápido y sencillo.
