Charming Madrid Airport V

The apartment is very close to the airport, so you can reach it in about 10 minutes by taxi. The residential complex is very clean and has padel courts, swimming pools, and a children’s playground. The building itself is also very clean, and the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. There are several shops literally just a few minutes away where you can buy groceries and everyday essentials, as well as a shopping center, pharmacy, restaurants, and several fast-food places. You can find everything you need very easily and close by. The bus stop is also only about 150 meters away. Bus 77 is very convenient and allows you to reach different transport connections, depending on where in Madrid you want to go.

The apartment does not look like it does in the photos. The yellow sofa in the living room was extremely dirty, with many different stains that were honestly very unpleasant. It looked as though it had not been properly cleaned for a long time and clearly needs professional deep cleaning. The yellow dining chairs were in a similar condition. We paid for accommodation for three people, with the understanding that one person would sleep on the sofa. Given the condition of the sofa, this was simply not an option. I reported the condition of the apartment on the very first day. During our entire seven-night stay, they were not even able to provide us with a simple cover for the sofa. We understood that professional deep cleaning could not necessarily be arranged immediately, but not being able to provide a sofa cover was very disappointing, especially considering the price we paid and the fact that my husband, our child and I ended up sleeping together in one bed. We were also given only one blanket, even though there were three of us, and it seemed we were expected to sleep with only sheets. The nights were quite cold, despite daytime temperatures being around 30°C. The floors were dirty and covered with black hair, especially in the kitchen and living room. On the positive side, the bathroom and bedroom were clean. Another very frustrating part of the stay was the communication. Most of the time I was dealing with a chatbot rather than a real person, and for the same issue I often had to send several similar messages to the number provided as the 24-hour contact. This made resolving even simple problems unnecessarily difficult.
