Eagle River Lodge

The room was clean and updated. However the morning was ruined by their staff. The staff on our check out day needed more training. We were asleep in the morning from a late night and our phone started ringing and before I could get to it, someone started banging at the door. The front desk person was standing there and asked if our car was parked in the street blocking the garbage truck. I said to her it was not and moreover, they already took my cars license plate number at check in so why did she not cross ref that instead of banging at all guests doors and waking people up as if it was a fire emergency instead of checking the plate numbers against rooms. She had no response to that and just walked away. She also did not apologize for it later when I ran into her. The hotel is nice but they have no idea about hospitality. Disturbing resting guests for something like that doesn’t justify it in my mind. If they fix this issue, I would recommend the place. Otherwise there are places with exceptional guest services in the area for less.
