Mountain Lodge 243 comfortably accommodates up to eight Guests with two bedrooms and two full bathrooms.
The primary suite has a queen bed, twin-over-twin bunk beds, and an attached full bathroom. The second bedroom has a queen bed, and the living room has additional sleeping capacity with a pullout sofa sleeper.
The modern kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for a quick snack, gourmet meal, and everything in between!
For your outdoor enjoyment, Guests have access to the new deck that's right off the living room.

THE RESORT:
At 4,848 feet, Snowshoe Mountain has the best skiing south of Vermont and east of Colorado, and is the perfect all-season destination in West Virginia’s Allegheny Mountains. You’re sure to find activities and adventures to keep all your family members happy.
● Winter – With an average yearly snowfall of 180 inches, the mountain offers 250 acres of skiable terrain, 61 slopes, 12 lifts, night skiing in Silver Creek, and five terrain parks for all skill levels. When you feel like taking a break from skiing or snowboarding, consider the many other activities available such as the Coca-Cola tubing park, Polaris RZR tours, snowmobile tours, and horse-drawn sleigh rides, to name a few.
● Summer – Enjoy the Snowshoe Bike Park with 40 downhill trails. Other activities include hiking, horseback riding, geocaching, clay shooting, golfing, kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing, relaxing on the sandy beach by Shavers Lake.
ADDITIONAL NOTES:
● Mountain Lodge features equipment lockers for rent (each holds all your ski equipment or up to two mountain bikes), for $15/per day on a first-come/first-serve basis, an arcade for the kids and young at heart, an inviting lobby built around a large fireplace (lit in the winter), laundry facilities, and a prime location that’s just a quick walk to Snowshoe’s main high-speed quad lift, Split Rock Pools, and Wildcat Grocery.
● Free shuttle buses are available from the Village to Top of the Mountain, and to Silver Creek for night skiing. Reach the Western Territory by way of the Silver Creek shuttle.
● If you need additional accommodations, please ask me about my other condos in the Snowshoe Mountain Resort.
PETS: Unfortunately, Mountain Lodge does not allow guests to bring pets of any type. As such, you will need to find alternative accommodations for your pets. However, if you have a certified Service Animal, let us know ahead of time so we can accommodate you. Service animals must be registered when you check-in at the front desk.
EARLY CHECK-IN: While we know you are excited to kick off your vacation, please note check-in begins at 5:00 PM. We may be able to accommodate an earlier check-in, if the room is ready.
LATE CHECK-OUT: Unfortunately, these are not possible. If you’d like a late checkout so you can enjoy all the mountain has to offer, we’re happy to book you for another night, if this or any of our other properties is available.

Location was so close to the slopes which was great. The weather turned on us and the short walk home was key. Unfortunately, it was louder in the apt than anticipated bc of the design of the building. The apt was smaller than anticipated. I know the square footage is listed but the pictures are lovely and make it seem larger than this. The sheets were stained upon arrival but the hosts changed them immediately. Overall good stay

The accommodations were great - just as advertised. I didn't get the check out instructions until after check out because it went to my junk email. Since the owner had my text, it would have been helpful to text me to see the email instructionsThe AC/heat did not ever work properly. To cool the condo, we had to cut the unit off and open the sliding door, which leaked at the top and turn on the box fans. It might need checking. The sleeping accommodations were as and appropriate and the ski in-ski out availability was wonderful. Although the kitchen was the most compact I've ever seen, it had enough supplies for our stay. WE understand location is everything and we are more used to beach accommodations: Gulf Shores and Florida so the price of the condo was a little steep compared to similar rentals on the beach.This was a fun time and we appreciate the opportunity.
