Welcome to Jockey Lake House, where the spirit of a summer camp meets the thrill of the racetrack. Nestled just minutes from the historic Saratoga Race Track, this spacious retreat offers the perfect blend of relaxation and excitement. With seven bedrooms (summertime pool house apartment) and accommodation for up to 24 guests spring- fall, and 20 guests in the winter. It is the ideal spot for bachelor/ bachelorette parties, reunions, or any group looking to enjoy a slice of lakeside living with a twist of horse racing culture.
As you step into Jockey Lake House, you're greeted by a modern-rustic ambiance that feels both welcoming and distinctly masculine. The interiors are a nod to the mid-century modern aesthetic, with clean lines, wood finishes, and a decor that blends industrial elements with soft, comfortable furnishings. Large windows bathe the space in natural light and offer stunning views of the serene lake and lush surroundings.
The heart of the house is its expansive living area, complete with plush sofas, a large flat-screen TV, and an assortment of board games and entertainment options. It's a place to kick back with a beer and watch the game, or host a movie night after a day at the races. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances and a large dining area, making meal preparation and dining both easy and enjoyable. The cabinets are also stocked with plenty of pots and pans and cooking utensils.
Outside, the adventure continues. Jockey Lake House boasts access to 80 ft of pristine waterfront accompanied by a dock where in the spring- early fall you can dive into the cool waters or try your hand at fishing. For those who prefer to stay on land, there’s plenty of outdoor seating, heated swimming pool for the summer months.
Location is everything, and Jockey Lake House doesn’t disappoint. Aside from being a short drive from Saratoga Race Track, you’re also close to downtown Saratoga Springs, where you can enjoy its high-end restaurants, charming cafes, and unique shops. Whether you’re here for the racing season or to simply disconnect from the hustle and bustle of daily life, everything you need is right at your doorstep.

Disclaimer: The pool house apartment will be winterized from October until the average daytime temperature reaches 55 degrees. During this period, there will be no water available in the kitchenette or bathroom. Although the pool house is equipped with a mini-split heater/AC, please be aware that the room with the two bunk beds may not be available for sleeping during the above months.
Note: The dock is unavailable from October- spring. The cleaning/ linen fee is listed as the “host fee”

This home has it all… the size, the layout, and the location and proximity to the lake was excellent. Amazing views all day and especially at sunset were exceptional. The pool was terrific for gathering, cooling off and relaxing any time of the day. We also spent a lot of time out on the dock, fishing and using the available kayaks. We did come across some issues during our stay including some appliances not up to par and cleanliness during the stay for which the hosts were extremely responsive, sincere, and tried to remediate our concerns. Overall, we had our epic family reunion celebrating my Dad’s 90th birthday! I would recommend staying at the Jockey Lake House!

We had a nice time watching the sunsets from the big windows overlooking the lake. We cooked, played, and laughed together in the large and comfortable living room.
