Private bedroom- #3 in West-Central neighborhood, walking distance to Downtown

Very happy with the place. Clean, with air conditioning and WiFi. Easy to access. Bus stops ten minutes away or less.

This place is fine if you are looking to save a little money and want to be close to the event centers. I stayed for 3 nights and the first night I was not comfortable and was thinking about looking for a new place to stay. By the 3rd night, I got over the things that bothered me and was okay.There is an unpleasant odor throughout the house that is much more prominent in the room I stayed in. The room I was in had a musty tobacco smell. There is no smoking allowed in the home, so not sure where it came from. Possibly the vents if someone else in the home was smoking but not sure. It was not really a cigarette smell, but more of an old, rustic tobacco scent. Luckily, the weather was nice so I left the windows open to air out the room. However, the window screen was bent and and didn't seal the frame, so I worried about bugs/flying insects coming in.The main other thing that bothered me is that the only bathroom in the house is downstairs and connected to the kitchen. You have to walk through the kitchen and the bathroom is in between the kitchen sink and a counter/cabinet. It would be super awkward to be in the bathroom while people are in the kitchen cooking and eating.Also, the crew entered my room while I was not there, which I do not appreciate. She forgot her keys on the bed and I was told to give it to a long-term guest, which made me uncomfortable knowing another person in the house could access my room at any time.
