We provide an array of amenities to elevate your beach days, including comfortable lounge chairs and beach chairs, kayaks for exploring the shimmering waters, and a variety of water floats and snorkel gear for carefree fun. Don't forget the sunscreen!

SUSTAINABILITY:

Powered by solar energy, our home harnesses the sun’s abundant rays for electricity, while a well and rainwater collection system ensures a steady, sustainable water supply. With a septic system in place, you’ll enjoy complete independence from unreliable utilities. BOATING:
We are asked a lot if we have a boat dock. We do not have a boat dock. The water in front of our property is very shallow at low tide. It can get to as low as 1 foot. If you do have a boat or want to rent one, be sure to follow the tide charts carefully and be sure you are ok with it resting on the ocean floor if left at low tide. If you are interested in a boat dock, there are properties in Leisure Lee and Treasure Cay that include boat docks.
CAR RENTALS & TAXIS:
You should also start thinking about your transportation, especially if renting a rental car. We recommend SG Car Rentals as they are right at the MHH airport whereas Barefoot car rentals will have to meet you at the airport and take you to their facility to get the car. Barefoot is a little cheaper because of that though. There are other rental car companies, but these are the two we've used and we can recommend.
Don't wait till last minute to book the car. Take care of that now to be sure they have availability.

If you don't plan on exploring, you can take a taxi from the airport to the property and they are readily available. If you take a taxi, be sure to get their number so you can call for a ride back.
HURRICANES:
The Atlantic hurricane season runs from June 1 to November 30, with its peak from mid-August to mid-October. When booking our villa during this period, we strongly recommend purchasing travelers' insurance with trip cancellation coverage and keeping a close eye on weather updates.
An interesting fact: Some of the most stunning and tranquil ocean conditions in The Bahamas occur during the height of hurricane season.

Aqua de Vista is exclusively a short-term vacation rental for up to 6 adults, offering stays from a minimum of 3 days to a maximum of 1 month. For stays exceeding two weeks, a mandatory biweekly cleaning service is required, with an additional fee for the cleaning.

Can’t beat the views! The place is well equipped, from kitchen, living room, bathrooms to recreational gears, everything was there! Steps away from the beach and ocean. We spent many hours on the deck and the gazebo. We made some new friends too. Great community. Host was very responsive. Definitely recommend.

We loved everything about this house! We’ve stayed in multiple VRBO rentals in the Bahamas and this is one of the most thought out, well equipped houses that we have ever stayed in. Loved the layout, cabana, raft in the water, and the views! We enjoyed watching turtles and sting rays swimming by and my husband catching his first bonefish in Abaco right in front of the house. On the days that the weather wasn’t overly cooperative at the house, we made the drive down to Cherokee Sound and enjoyed the day at Long Dock, which was totally worth it! Nothing but good things to say about this rental and the hosts, 9 nights just wasn’t long enough!
