We stayed at this property and joined up with family that live in the Emory area, so the location was convenient for our trip.The house itself was comfortable and provided what we needed for a family gathering. There were a total of five adults and six kids. The kids took the entire upstairs with the two double bunks and the king bed. The kitchen and common areas were functional. The screened in porch on the back of the house facing the lake was nice to hang out in the mornings and drink coffee. The large grass area with shade trees gave us a great spot for games and a glow party. The neighbors were having a wedding on their property, so their kids even joined in. It was a blast.Lake access was one of the highlights. The dock came in very handy and was used numerous times. There is a ladder near the shore for access to shallow water (about one foot deep at the time of visit), which was fantastic for allowing the little ones in and out on their own. There was also a ladder at the end of the dock to get in the deeper water (maybe three feet deep at the time). The second story was a perfect spot to watch the sunset. The supplied kayaks were also a nice addition and were used often.The only minor area of improvement would be the screened in porch. To use it we needed to clear out the spiders and webs, bugs from the couch, and cover up some of the larger holes so that the yellow jackets would stay out.Overall, we had a very nice stay and would recommend.
