About this house rental
Welcome to Coastal Soul – the perfect HOME for a family or friends getaway. Our home is literally a short 2 block walk to the 29th Street beach and seawall. In addition to the beach, go in either direction along the seawall and you have restaurants, bars, entertainment and the PLEASURE PIER – all just steps away. The Strand and downtown are a 5 minute ride, public transportation includes buses and trolleys. Also available for rent are bicycle (including e-bikes), golf carts, sling shots and scooters. With our tasteful beach themed décor, you start to relax and unwind the minute you step in the front door. Our house sleeps 6 with a king bed master suite and an en suite bathroom. The large second bedroom has 2 queen beds. Smart TVs hang in each bedroom and the living room. There is a fully stocked kitchen and a gas grill in the back outdoor area. We provide beach towels (separate from the bath towels we provide) and a beach wagon. We have plenty of games for when you just want to hang out at the home. There is a washer and dryer as well so you can travel home with clean clothes.

We reserved this adorable little home for a weekend getaway to meet up with family. Everything about it was perfect for our group of four (two adults, two kids). We didn't have to worry about finding parking along the sea wall because the house was within a 5 minute walk to the beach, and 10 minutes to Pleasure Pier where we were able to have lunch and more! The beds were extremely comfortable, the living room was perfect for gathering and the kitchen was equipped with everything needed to cook at home. We really enjoyed staying at this little beach house and would definitely reserve again.

We have traveled to Galveston to play beach soccer with our boys each of the last 4 years. We have stayed in several different VRBO’s. Some bigger, some smaller. This one was perfect. Location was great. House was fantastic. Everything about this house was just right for our family.

We rented the house for a short weekend beach trip. Location to the beach and amenities was perfect, rooms were nice and clean. Would book again.
