About this cottage rental
Nestled in the heart of the Cévennes, our unique accommodation offers a poetic getaway within an old silk farm transformed into an art gallery cottage. Accommodating up to 5 people with a spacious terrace, our gîte is designed for unforgettable holidays!
As you step into this historic place, you'll be embraced by the warm atmosphere of its thick stone and lime-washed walls, terracotta tile floors, and vaulted ceilings. Here, you'll discover the house's ancient activities intertwined with paintings from the Philippe Lacroix collection, which are regularly updated to maintain a true art gallery experience.
The entrance opens directly into the first living area, featuring a reading/library nook and a TV corner. This room also includes a single bed.
At the back of this room, a door leads to a bright bedroom with a double bed (140 cm) and a large wardrobe.
At the heart of our gîte, the grand living room invites relaxation with a dining table near the wood stove, a cozy sitting area, and a superior quality double sofa bed. An opening leads to the fully equipped kitchen, perfect for culinary creativity.
Beyond the grand living room, another opening leads to the kitchen, fully equipped (a chef even mentioned we have more utensils than his restaurant!). Just past the kitchen, you'll find the bathroom/WC.
We provide all household linens, including sheets and towels, as well as a welcome pack.
Outside, a spacious south-facing terrace invites you to enjoy convivial moments around a gas barbecue with a plancha. You can relax by our above-ground pool (8x4m) until early July.
A play area and pétanque court are available at the entrance of the gîte, shared with our adjoining second gîte.
We offer on-site dining services, where you can enjoy carefully prepared breakfasts and meals, accompanied by a selection of local drinks.
Finally, we will be delighted to provide personalized recommendations to explore our beautiful region, its hidden treasures, and various activities.
Don't hesitate: come and experience a unique stay in our art gallery gîte in the heart of the Cévennes!
