We recently had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful mid-century modern house within the historic Village Creek enclave. The private beach was a true gem—peaceful and pristine, offering a perfect spot to unwind. The house itself was immaculate, and we found the mattresses and bedding to be quite comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. Nestled on a quiet, wooded, and private point, the setting provided a serene retreat, yet we were pleasantly surprised by how close it was to the vibrant South Norwalk scene, making it easy to explore local dining and entertainment. The host was incredibly accommodating. When a minor issue arose, it was addressed immediately and handled with professionalism and care, which made us feel well looked after. One of the unexpected highlights was the sense of community in this small, secluded area. It felt like stepping back in time, with a neighborly atmosphere that echoed the mid-century charm of the house itself. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and we’d highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a mix of beach tranquility, style, and a touch of local culture.
