About this house rental
A beautiful cottage guest house set in the heart of the Macedon Ranges, only a stones throw away from Hanging Rock. Enjoy relaxing by the log fire which does a great job at heating the room during those winter nights as well as the rustic feel from the original wooden floorboards and ceiling beams.
The space
The guest house is situated on a hobby farm set on eight acres of scenic surroundings. You have a clear view of Hanging Rock and there is always a variety of wildlife surrounding the property including our own sheep and chickens. Only a one minute drive to Newham centre, three minute drive to Hanging Rock and a five minute drive to Woodend. There are also multiple wineries, a gin distillery and the well known Holgate Brewery very near by.
Other things to note
Guests are welcome to explore the property, remembering to close the gates to keep the live stock in. There are some great views of Hanging Rock and the dam is beautiful at sun set.

Where to begin! This stunning and cozy cottage was the perfect base to operate out from for our stay. The rustic beauty and charm made for a cozy stay, but didn't hold back on modern comforts. The bathroom and shower is updated and modern and we were pleasantly surprised by the toiletries supplied. The space was well cleaned and inviting with attention to detail.
The locale is surrounded by natural beauty and very close to Hanging Rock. Farm animals abound, we made a few 4-legged friends!
Andy, the host, was very friendly and had prompt communication which made the process smooth and easy. He even allowed for a late check out which was very kind.
We'd definitely stay here again! Absolutely recommend.
