New Gem! Charming vacation home - Casa Y&V

The space was great to have my children and grandchildren come swim and cook a meal with. I like the fact that the neighbors were not in your business. I loved that the location was convenient for my familial needs. The bedrooms all had TVs. The Florida room/den had a TV. The living room had a TV. Intetnet was on point! The pool(water)was clean, clear not to small. The laundry utilities were great. Plenty of TP. Extra blankets readily available. The cleaning equipment was easily accessible. Beds were comfortable. Easy check in accessing the home. The home is older but offers the Florida nostalgia I remember as a child. I will hopefully return next year.

1)Rules were somewhat confusing although I've never rented a home before this could be my ignorance. I was confused as to what a "party" consisted of. Whether that be a group of family members coming to hang out and eat a meal together playing cards (non alcohol) or a full on house party. 2)While on vacation I shouldn't have to be worried about breaking rules regarding things the cleaner should take care of. I understand cleaning after your family ie dishes, garbage, sweeping and steam cleaning the floors. Towels should be the duty of the cleaner, they have to wash linens anyway. Turning the AC to low when low is not specified. I understand the rulebook stated "if time permits" but I was still concerned a fee would be charged if not completed. 3) Whomever their cleaner is could do a better job. Cooking utensils had old food stuck to several items. The bathroom shower needed a cleaning. I realize this is an older home but the master shower had dirt caked on the tile. I had to wash the shower stalls prior to use. The pool deck had a used bandaid stuck to the deck, I didn't pick that up. I could have upon retrospect. 4) I had to buy dish towels to wash the counters down/and dishes because the sponges are old which is fine if you're alright with that. Some folks prefer to hand wash dishes to make sure things are cleaner than the dishwahser 5) I was concerned about the garbage as pick up day was not on the day in the rulebook and it was too late when I realized garbage came Wednesday not Thursday. These are all very small issues. Not issues that would deter a future stay. New to renting a home so as I've said it could be my ignorance. Don't allow my small complaints to deter you from booking.

Everything was so wonderful. The home was spacious and cozy and the privacy and pool was very relaxing. I messed up my checkout date and the gentleman was very understanding and kind about it. Would 100% stay here again.

This was a great home away from home! Super easy to get to and from. The pool was amazing for a relaxed day. I would definitely book this location again!
