Dream house

The host was brilliant!!! Great communication & very helpful. The apartment was spacious and modern with a full kitchen & fridge, 2 full bathrooms & 2 balconies with one balcony housing the washing machine & close horse. Very useful to have. The apartment was gated with 5-8 minutes walk to main centre & 5 minutes walk to the supermarket. Location was fantastic.

Breakfast was supplied as a grocery hall at the beginning of the stay - basics like bread & milk with spreads. Generous amount provided but more snack / sweet packages. The building and surroundings were older & not maintained. The swimming pool area was run down with branches & leaves everywhere, no sun beds or lounges and only older plastic chairs & tables. There were ‘local’ rules to using the pool like limited hours & needing to wear a rubber cap to swim for all. The pool seemed more like a run down local community pool rather than a hotel pool.

The apartment felt bigger than we expected from the photos. Nice and quiet air conditioning that worked well. The breakfast supplies were plentiful and accommodated my partner's gluten free diet. Lovely having breakfast on the main balcony. The espresso machine worked well. The double bed was wide, very comfortable and did not squeak. The double glazing was good at keeping out the traffic noise, so don't worry about it being to the side of a busy road. One of the TVs (there are 3!) didn't seem to work, so we contacted the host and she sent someone round to fix it within about 10 minutes. We didn't meet the host in person, but she was very responsive to all text questions, so we felt well supported. Fantastic location, only 2 mins walk into the old town with all its shops, bars and restaurants. Enjoyed bumping into locals on the stairs... many apartments are just locals' homes. So it felt more like living in Sorrento, rather than in tourist-land.

Really didn't like leaving. Wish we lived there.

Perfect location. Great accommodation and fabulous breakfast supplies provided. Hosts were in contact throughout the process and provided lots of help.
