The location was excellent for our purposes: across the street from the beach and easy walking to several beachside restaurants.

While the apt was clean, comfortable. and updated, an open floor drain in the bathroom allowed occasional whiffs of sewer gas. Noise from the street was minimal, but a barking dog (in an adjacent apt?) made itself known a couple times during the night.

The location was great. The apartment was clean.

The listing was inaccurate. Said 3 beds (1 Queen & 2 Sofabeds). There is only 1 Queen bed and 1 Sofa bed. When brought to the hosts attention, they said the sofa bed sleeps 2 people therefore, it's 2 sofabeds. The host did not offer to rectify the situation at all, they just made excuses. We could have used a cot or rollaway bed. We were a group of 4. Myself, my adult son and my 2 teenage daughters. There was no information at the apartment in regard to WiFi password or how to turn the hot water on. You need to turn the breaker on in the electric box for the hot water tank to turn on. We had to figure this out for ourselves. THE SMELL WAS HORRIBLE!!!! An open floor drain in the bathroom (next to the toilet) and/or the shower drain made the bathroom smell like mold / dirty mop water / a drainage ditch. It didn't have 1 distinct smell. No, I didn't say anything to the host at the time. They would have just made excuses like they did about the bed situation.
