Valcea Northside Spacious Apartment

We stayed for two nights with my wife and our two kids, and this apartment was a real find. It’s very spacious, with separate rooms that are smartly organized – no awkward open-plan chaos, just practical layouts that actually work for a family. The cleanliness was outstanding; everything felt fresh and well looked after. What we appreciated most was the location. The building sits in a wonderfully quiet area, yet there’s a playground literally right outside. For families with children, that’s pure gold. Our host was extremely kind and helpful. Even though we only communicated by phone, she was supportive and made everything smooth. A couple of small observations (not complaints): there is no air conditioning. The temperature stayed perfectly bearable during our stay, but if you’re particularly sensitive to heat it could be a minor inconvenience. At the fantastic price we paid, though, it’s hard to expect AC – and we’re certainly not holding it against the place. Slightly more amusing was the missing corkscrew. We had optimistically brought a bottle of wine… and then simply gave up on the idea. Lesson learned: pack a corkscrew next time, or just stick to beer. All in all, this is a fantastic, welcoming apartment. We would happily return and will definitely recommend it to friends.
