The birdlife and forest surrounding and its very spacious and clean inside. Definitely quirky and rustic charm. Looks better than photos inside. Lots of potential and beautiful views of Gold Coast from Verandah.
I didn’t like the rubbish outside the steps to enter, old shoes and junk, and broken glass. The place has so much potential given the location, but needs a few more improvements . The wifi password details were missing and when I said they weren’t on the fridge magnet I didn’t get a reply. Bring warm clothing for winter stays, as it a big place and no ac or fireplace. I agree with host comments on noisy clanging maybe from water system even at night.

Beautiful location, lovely timber home tucked away in the rainforest. Had all we needed for a comfortable 3 night stay - spacious, functional, clean.
A couple of very, very minor issues such as sticky doors and temperamental light switches. Just made it a little difficult with a baby making noise in the night when we couldn’t close the bedroom doors.

It promised much in terms of the setting; it was lovely being up in the hills in a National Park but it was very close to other homes so that it did not really feel as if we were in a wild area.
I did like the provision of many games to play and the toys etc. means it will provide good accommodation for families with small children.
The convoluted way we needed to use to get our streaming services to work on the TV. We ended up watching the rugby game on a phone! Also, the house felt a bit grubby and all the cupboards were locked, indicating the extent to which this is really just a private home
