very nice view over the paddy fields and to the mountains. Neighborhood is very quiet.

Common space was a bit messy, no free water refill.

What a place. I ended up staying here while waiting to be able to cross the border into Laos, and I wish the waiting took a bit longer. The homestay is located on the edge of beautiful rice fields and there are plenty of places from where you can take the view in, like a deck with small chairs or hammocks in different places. I was warmly welcomed and throughout my stay the hosts made sure I was at ease. I say I was ‘waiting for my visa’ and by that I mean that I only had to give my passport to the host and then she arranged all the rest for me. She also arranged the bus to Dien Bien, and the transit to Luang Prabang. Then when leaving, there were problems with the bus but she made sure I was on another bus and on the way to Laos. I would recommend this stay to anyone looking to relax with a beautiful view - because I did just that.
