ELIVAAS 4 BHK with Garden & Sauna - Skylounge

We stayed at Elivaas Luxury 4BHK in Shimla, and there was a lot to like about the place. The views are stunning, the architecture is beautiful, and the villa is very clean and well maintained. The staff was extremely polite, helpful, and warm, which really added to the experience. The property is peaceful and truly feels premium when it comes to design and upkeep.

However, there were a few things that disappointed us. The biggest issue was accessibility, which was not clearly informed during booking. To reach the villa, you have to climb more than 100 steep steps and walk uphill, almost like a short trek. We were travelling with a toddler, and this was quite difficult had there been a senior citizen, it would have been very challenging. Despite booking a luxury villa, only the stay was included; everything else came at an extra cost and felt quite pricey. The sauna was chargeable, even though it’s highlighted as an amenity. We also had to pay around ₹2000 extra (to and fro) for another vehicle just to cover the last 1 km with luggage, even though we had our own tempo traveller this was not communicated in advance. The bonfire and BBQ prices were also high (₹3000 for bonfire setup and ₹5000 for BBQ), and food was okay but not great, available only as a fixed combo, which caused some wastage. While I understand how difficult it is to run a villa in a remote hill location, clear and transparent communication about access and pricing beforehand would have made the experience much better.
