"It’s right beside the Creekside parking lot. There is a Ramen restaurant beside and lots of shops cross the street. The room is big and cozy."

The property is very well located in Creekside for access to shops/restaurants there (Rockit Coffee is a winner) and a short drive up to the main village and all its amenities. It is also easy to access the Valley Trail for biking and walking. Communications with the host were prompt and thorough, and I appreciated that they were able to accommodate a one hour later checkout, especially as we were only there one night. We were advised by message when the property was ready for check-in and it was easy to get in with the door code and find parking near the unit. The unit was tidy and has a well stocked kitchen with adequate dishes and basic back-up food provisions. The bed was comfortable and nice to wake up to a peak through view to the mountains on the other side of the valley. The setting gives a calm feel with trees outside the living room window between the next building over. Good space for the money and a nice visit overall.
Didn't know that bath towels weren't provided (nor tea towels/dish cloths). As we were staying one night, it wasn't a huge deal so I didn't ask the host about this issue. I didn't spot the amount of the cleaning fee ($150) when booking - entirely my fault. I know a one night stay would be unusual for this property but that is very high and though tidy, I wouldn't say the thoroughness of the cleanliness reflects that charge. In addition, there were a few items in need of maintenance (loose kitchen faucet, toilet that isn't seated properly and wobbles when you sit down, unpatched screw holes on wall above the toilet) that gave the feeling of it needing a little more care. The walls in the unit are a little thin so you could hear the sound of what seemed like normal conversation from an adjacent unit. Thankfully, none of the neighbours were noisy and this wasn't an issue for us at all, just something to be aware of.

Excellent location, free parking, very comfortable bed, nice living room, great space for skis and outerwear.
Bathroom was a little worn and could have used a new shower curtain, the sink in the kitchen could not be plugged and it was difficult to do the dishes.

The location is excellent, just steps away from Whistler Creek Village and the bus stop. Since we didn’t have a car, we relied entirely on public transportation, and we were pleasantly surprised by how well everything we wanted to see was connected. The house itself is a cozy nest, as the title says. The living room area is especially pretty and perfect for a relaxing, stay-in weekend.
I have to admit that the listing photos don’t seem to be up to date. The house isn’t as clean as expected and would benefit from some touch-ups, particularly in the bathroom. It would make a big difference in the overall impression of cleanliness. The space also tends to get quite humid, although there are dehumidifiers available, which helps. Additionally, some of the dishes weren’t very clean, there were mugs with visible coffee and tea stains. While staining can happen over time, it’s not very inviting to arrive at a rental and find kitchenware in that condition. The sink faucet was also quite wobbly, which added to the sense that some maintenance is needed. We were honestly a bit disappointed, I don’t believe the price paid reflects the current state of the house.
