Rooms and facilities

I personally like the location, peaceful as it's away from the downtown area. There's a lovely view of the mountains if you choose the front room.The beds are comfortable, with incorporated bathroom.This stately house has a covered eating area just in front with a garden. Jimmy is friendly and helpful, and his mother is a delight.

It would be nice to have a reading lamp, and also a big jug of drinking water for guests, but they do have bottled water on hand if you ask.

Jimmys Guesthouse liegt zu Fuß eine Viertelstunde vom Zentrum entfernt, wir haben die ruhige Lage mit Garten, Terrasse und Blick auf die Berge sehr genossen. Wir haben uns so wohl gefühlt, dass wir zwischen unseren Touren immer wieder für ein paar Nächte zu Jimmy zurückgekehrt sind. Gepäckaufbewahrung während unserer Treckingtouren war kein Problem. Als mein Freund krank war, hat Jimmy ihn sofort zur Ambulanz gefahren und sich persönlich darum gekümmert, dass er schnell behandelt wurde und schließlich auch noch die Medikamente für ihn besorgt!

Manche Betten sind ein bisschen hart, was in Ladakh normal ist. Wir konnten dann eine dünne Schaumstoffmatratze darüber legen, damit war es kein Problem.
