Excellent communication with the renter, he made sure we had everything we needed. Room was stocked with the essentials. Location is good, right behind a huge mall. Grounds and common area kept clean. One of the larger gyms we have seen, nice pool but a little cold. About 5km from east gate in Old town.

If you are a long stay the couch and chairs in the room are not the most comfortable. Pool being so cold. Even though there is a huge mall beside you not much else near for attractions.

Decent sized apartment in a secure condo and quiet most of the time (lots of thin walls in Thailand). Great communication from the owner regarding check-in and also during the stay. It's a nice base to get about and with a giant fancy mall nearby and a 7/11 across from it. Fast, fairly reliable WiFi. I like the TV that swivels between rooms, I need one of those. Well equipped with a fridge/freezer, washing machine, hob and cooking equipment and crockery supplied. The condo staff were very helpful whenever I dealt with them. I did not use the gym facility/pool/or communal areas but it looked like others were enjoying it regularly. I've enjoyed my stay and would have liked to have stayed longer.

The furniture is a little basic so not the most comfortable but that's more to do with me being a heavy lump and the hob takes a long time to heat up, but it's fine once you are used to it. Lightning storms occasionally knock out the power but only once did it stay out for a while. It's a little further out from the old town if that's what you are after, but quite easy/cheap to use Grab or even take a free shuttle from the front of Central (a few minutes walk).
