Apartaestudio La Capital

The apartment was spotlessly clean and very well maintained. It had everything we needed, including cutlery, plates and other kitchen essentials. The water supply was good, and we really appreciated having a comfortable seating area and a small balcony to relax on. The location was excellent, especially because it was very close to the long-distance bus terminal, which made travelling very convenient. There were also several restaurants nearby where we enjoyed some delicious meals.

The only issue was our arrival. Before travelling, we asked if a taxi could be arranged to pick us up at the airport, but unfortunately no taxi was there when we arrived. We also remembered being told to call upon arrival, but when we did, nobody answered the phone. As international travellers arriving in a new country, that was a bit stressful. Fortunately, we were able to take a taxi ourselves, and everything worked out well in the end. It was just a less pleasant start to our trip. Tip: when you take a taxi, be aware that the satnav of Costa Rica apparently doesn’t show one direction of the roads. We had 2 taxi’s. One drove backwards to the entrance, one drove around the block. Important to inform the driver as you are sometimes on a tight schedule and when you don’t have suitcases you can walk a bit, but sometimes it doesn’t work that way.

Convenient location near the heart of the city. The apartment was very clean, spacious and comfortable.

The street is actually noisy early in the morning and the terrace door was locked in an open position so it was impossible to shut it properly and keep the noise out, especially the pelican crossing nearby

El lugar y la cama son cómodos, el baño está muy bien.
