Well situated for Peggy’s Cove and Halifax

Property was calm, clean and peaceful. Bed was comfortable. Place is a little farther than expected but less than 5 min from Peggy’s cove “downtown”. Hosts were not there but accessible by phone. I really liked that they weren’t there, it gave me a feeling that they thrusted us. Breakfast was simple but there was many options: cereal, oatmeal, boiled eggs, bread, donuts, Nutella, jams, peanut butter, milk, a variety of juice, etc…
It was definitely more of a bed and breakfast than an hotel. Nothing was wrong about it, I just felt I could have got more of the “Rock” views and Peggy’s cove feel if I would have stayed closer to “downtown” for the price but if you don’t mind not having the Peggy’s cove experience in the evening (walking and then going to bed/ rather than driving to town, walking, driving again), it is an ok place and it was definitely safe and quiet.

Location. The view and the yard was great. The balcony was nice to view the ocean. The bathroom was small but nice and clean. The room was a good size with nice big windows and good blinds to adjust the lighting level.
Other guests slamming doors and making noise late at night and early in the morning. No hot breakfast options. No HVAC unit for our room. Wife has allergies so opening the windows is not an option to cool the room.
