The Farmhouse - Countryside Escape with Hot Tub

The Farmhouse is spectacular! It is a beautiful house from the mid 1800s with lovely original features and large windows with high ceilings. It was clean and comfortable for us, very well equipped with everything from dishwasher tablets, laundry detergent, special towels for the hot tub and heaps of kitchen items- everything was thought of. We particularly appreciated the games equipment for outside and the large garden which is mostly enclosed for the kids and dog to run around it. We had a fantastic stay, the hot tub is amazing and we loved the house.

Unfortunately during a heat wave we found the thick duvets on every bed much too warm. We loved the games room *as did the kids* but there was household DIY equipment, ladders, paint, BBQ chemicals laying around that were a safety hazard for the children. A simple addition of a locked cupboard or cabinet would easily solve this. These are minor issues but worth noting.

We had a wonderful weekend stay at the Farmhouse! The location was fantastic, and the house itself was spotlessly clean. The rooms were very spacious, and having two living rooms gave our group plenty of space to relax. The kitchen was excellent and fully equipped with everything we needed, including a dishwasher and a washer-dryer, which was very convenient. The hot tub was a huge hit, and there was more than enough space for all our cars in the large parking area. We also really enjoyed having the pool and ping-pong tables for entertainment.

The only things that could be improved are the amount of garden furniture (could use a few more seats outside) and the barn housing the games tables, which feels a bit dated and needs refreshing.

Lovely big house with large garden. Loved the added touch of having the games and the pac man machine ect. VERY comfy beds. Hosts were great, there on our 2nd day the wifi went down , was less than ideal in a remote location with no phone service, however contacted hosts who responded very fast and confirmed via O2s website that were was an outage with one of the masts, totally outwith their control and absolutely nothing they could have done about it but they still sent us £100 to get a takeaway on them as an apology!

Wasn't an issue for us but worth noting for anyone bringing a dog with them that the garden is very large and great for them to run about however not fully secure, so if you have a wanderer it would be easy for them to escape

Beautiful farmhouse with lovely gardens. Kitchen was well equipped for every circumstance. Bedrooms were gorgeous with really comfortable beds. Loved the small gestures in the house, goodie basket and quality products in the bathrooms. Games room and garage were well equipped, kept the family entertained. Loads of information with the booking and within the property.

Had no faults with the farmhouse.
