Villa Pomera Dos by Villa Plus

The property overall was really lovely. Very safe and secure. The view from the villa is beautiful and the pool is very well kept. I would most likely go back and recommend this property. Couldn’t fault the villa on a whole, had pretty much everything that you would need. I would recommend that anyone looking to stay here hires a car as it is up a hill and the main shops (Lidl, Aldi, Mercadona, Carrefour) are only realistically accessible via car. Would highly recommend if you do have a car going to Valencia for the day. The best way to do this is to drive to Xeraco train station which is approximately a 30 minute drive from the property and then getting the train from there which takes an hour. If you do this, strongly recommend buying tickets at the train station. For reference there was three of us and it was €12 return.

There are just a few negative things that I’d like to mention. The first is that the cork screw and bottle opener was broke on our arrival. At night the outside and pool area is full of mosquitos. We tried going in the pool once just as it went dark and they were latching themselves to the door and lights. Wouldn’t recommend using the pool in the dark for that reason only. The air conditioning in the twin bedroom is very weak/ doesn’t work. All of the other rooms however have very strong air conditioning. Finally, the cleaners arrived 25 minutes early on our day of departure and were trying to rush us out. This wasn’t appreciated as we were trying to clear and finalise our packing. They didn’t even knock, they just opened the gates and appeared onto the property. It was a little startling.
