The first level has direct access to the hot tub and lounge area, this level features a complete bathroom, a spacious bedroom, and a large living area.
On the `main level,` be captivated by the stone fireplace and unique wooden details as soon as you enter. This floor boasts two bedrooms, a complete kitchen, a full bathroom, and a bright living and dining room. Step onto the expansive wrap-around porch, for coffee, conversations, and stunning views of nature.
Ascend to the loft/lounge area on the upper level for relaxation, meditation, yoga, or to just hang out. The master bedroom awaits with its private balcony, hot tub, and full bathroom. Discover a blend of comfort and nature in this log chalet haven!
This property is a very short drive to Plage Pelissier (municipal boat launch) where you can access Lac McGregor. Rental includes 2 inflatable paddle boards
Guest Access:
Guests will be able to access everything in the home and are free to walk around the land. Please do not enter the wooden structures/sheds outside because they have not been inspected and could be unsafe.
Plage Pelissier (Boat Launch) on Lac McGregor less than 5 minutes away.
3 inflatable paddle boards included for you to explore the lake!

Need transportation arrangements? Just ask, we`ll be happy to arrange transportation to and from points of interest such as, Wakefield, Nordik spa, downtown Ottawa or Gatineau, etc...

3.9% of the total amount paid is non-refundable regardless of when cancellation occurs.

A Perfect Weekend Escape! Casa Madera delivered an unforgettable Friday to Sunday getaway. The 11 acres of private land, stunning spa, and outdoor fireplace made for the most relaxing weekend, especially unwinding in the hot tub. The chalet is spacious, beautifully maintained, and fully equipped with everything you need.

This log house is a true gem! Nestled in a beautiful field surrounded by forest, it offers a serene and cozy retreat—perfect for unwinding in nature. The cottage itself is well-equipped, comfortable, and full of charm.One thing to note for winter travelers: the road leading up to the property can be quite icy, and having a 4x4 is highly recommended for easier access. With the right vehicle, this peaceful escape is absolutely worth it!Overall, a fantastic stay, and we would love to return!
