Birdbox Reksta

Welcome to Birdbox Reksta, idyllically situated on an island off the coast of Florø. Here, you’re at one with nature and can watch both the sunrise and the sunset from your bed. You can also experience the rugged beauty of the coast—with its wind and weather—from the cozy warmth of the Birdbox. The surrounding area is rich in wildlife, including sheep, deer, and eagles, and there are wonderful hiking trails right around the Birdbox, whether you want to go on a mountain hike or take a dip in the sea.

Take the ferry from Florø to Rognaldsvåg, which stops at Reksta. From there, you can drive to Reksta School in Indre Reksta and park about 300 meters from the Birdbox. You must reserve a spot on the ferry for your car in advance. If you’re coming without a car, it’s about a 40-minute walk to Birdboxen. Transportation to and from the ferry when you arrive at Reksta is included in the price if you’d rather be driven.

There is a restroom right next to the Birdbox, and there is a restroom facility at the school about 300 meters from the Birdbox, which also has showers and other amenities. A refrigerator, heating, and air conditioning are installed in the Birdbox.
