The absolutely best thing about these rentable rooms is that they are run by a very friendly granny and her older son. They are always up for a snap and a chat. There is a large common room, where you can also cook. Behind the house there is free parking (you have to maneuver the car for that, but that is fine to do and otherwise the son will help you). Wonderfully located at the harbor, everything is around the corner!
During summer months you generally do not sleep before 24h, because barbecues with performances are often held at the harbor (but that is of course also the fun). The prices of the restaurants (also in Korsuca by the way) are sky high.

Accommodations were exactly as pictured and described in other reviews-- a little dated, but clean and comfortable. The communal kitchen/living space was well stocked for cooking and was comfortable and accessible. The location was super central to the main strip of Vela Luka and a stone's throw from the ferry.
It was a little difficult to find at first (the photo on booking is two doors down from the actual location). The wifi didn't really work, and part of that was a communication barrier between us and the hosts-- it would be better if the wifi information was just written down in the rooms. Wouldn't necessarily call this a quiet getaway as you could constantly hear the hosts on the phone or yelling across the house. They were not the hands-off type. Also, it would have been nice if there had been a trash can in the bathroom.
