Ocean Point-4 bedrooms, 2 full baths - "Peace Restored"

Our stay at China's East Boothbay VRBO home was as advertised, i.e., peace by the sea. It is a great location off the beaten path, with multiple scenic sites from a few minutes to a 1.5 hour drive both north and south, or for a "day of rest" on a rainy day. Easy drives to Ocean Point Walk, town of Boothbay Harbor, Boothbay Botanical Gardens, Reid State Park Beach, Popham Beach State Park, Lighthouses (Cape Elizabeth, Pemaquid Point, Marshall Point, Owls Head to name a few).

Loved walking down to the shore. Awesome place to hang out with family and play games after exploring.

This house lived up to its name! Such a beautiful property and home on the edge of the point. A quick skip to the landing, Ocean Point Inn, the lighthouses, lobster traps/boats, and the most beautiful view of the ocean in this part of Maine. Ocean Point is a story to be told for your family, and this house makes it a reality! Multiple bedroom home with incredible linens and comfort. Multi-level making large family living easy! The view is spectacular from the upper levels. The house is fully stocked with all needs for daily living, leaving much to want. Our kids loved the game closet! There is a back path that leads to the ocean for easy access! Owner was simply wonderful and helped in all my planning! By far, this has been our favorite rental. We are already counting down to our return!

Our stay at China’s home exceeded our expectations! Upon arrival, we were greeted by a beautiful, expansive, exceptionally clean space. Our daughter loved exploring the bedrooms and loft area! The middle floor with a view of the ocean from the deck became our favorite spot! It was so relaxing. We played games, had coffee out on the deck, and took in the peaceful serene surroundings. My husband especially loved the mix of sea and forest while I gravitated to the water solely. It was a short walk (15 min tops) to my favorite spot overlooking the ocean and rocks in front of the Ocean Point Inn. The entire ocean front walkway there is in my opinion the best spot in the Boothbay Harbor region. We enjoyed the comfortable living and dining spaces and barbecued (with our portable grill) several times during our stay. We brought seafood dinners back from a local restaurant and enjoyed them at the large dining table. The beds were extremely comfortable and bedrooms well appointed. The master bath was spacious and toiletry basics were thoughtfully provided. The property owner and host, China, was simply amazing to work with. She spent 30 minutes on the phone with me after booking to answer my questions. Not seeing reviews I was a little nervous but she quickly put my mind at ease. She even happily showed the house to a relative of ours who was vacationing nearby. We couldn’t have been happier with our stay and look forward to our next visit. BootRegion. The
