About this house rental
Location: Close to historical church sites. 20 minutes from Chiefs/Royals Stadiums. 30 minutes from downtown Kansas City. 35 minutes from airport.
To do nearby: Surrounded by areas for fishing, hiking, biking, kayaking. Shopping, antiquing, and dozens of fantastic restaurants just minutes away.
About the place: This is a 1500 sq ft walkout basement of a beautiful home, nestled in a 2.5 acre estate filled with trees and wildlife. There's a spring and serenity meadow, great for meditation. Near the patio theres a fire pit and bbq grill. The basement has a kitchen with coffee maker, popcorn maker, microwave, mini fridge, air fryer, and griddle. It comes loaded with board games and puzzles. Along with an 85" TV in the living room there is a recliner sectional, a ping pong table, foosball table, pool table, air hockey table, and treadmill. In the spacious bedroom there is a 55" TV and king sized bed. There is full bath, private bedroom with TV and king sized bed. Walk out patio surrounded by trees. BBQ grill. Fire pit.

We had a great stay. Location was good and even tho we didnt need an early check-in, they told us we could arrive at any time on the day of arrival. A couple things that I think could improve the space is maybe a couple more kitchen appliances (such as an air fryer) since there was no oven/stove. Also for our 3 day stay, maybe some more towels (only supplied 4) /toilet paper (only 1 roll) since there wasn't enough. I did not bother the host with these issues though, so they may have gotten us more had we asked. They were very accommodating when it came to our pet that was with us. I wasn't sure if he was going to bark a lot while we were out, since he isn't crate trained. They told us not to worry about any noise or barking. I do think he quietened fairly quickly after our departure. Our child loved all the games in the space and we would definitely stay again if we were in the area.
