About this cottage rental

Ty Gwennol is a rural retreat with superb views over the open Pembrokeshire countryside towards the coast. It lies off the beaten track, surrounded by undisturbed heathland, yet is within easy reach of beautiful beaches, the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, and the city of St Davids. Perfect for walkers and nature lovers, there are walks directly from the door and the opportunity to see a wide variety of wildflowers, butterflies, and birds.

The cottage combines modern convenience with the character of the original stone building. Relax in the living area with it's exposed stone walls and wooden beams or enjoy a drink and plan your adventures in the shelter of the walled garden.

Ty Gwennol is close to the tiny city of St Davids (less than 10 mins), renowned for its stunning cathedral, the ruins of the Bishop's Palace and home to Oriel y Parc Gallery and Visitor Centre. The city has a good range of interesting shops and a variety of eating places. Boat trips to see dolphins, whales and seabirds on the offshore islands are an experience not to be missed.

The nearest sandy beach to Ty Gwennol is Abereiddy (6 minutes) while Whitesands (10 minutes) and the other beaches of St Brides Bay, popular for surfing, kayaking and coasteering lie to the south.
