Enjoy every season in this classic Vermont Chalet, located in a quiet wooded neighborhood in the Green Mountains. The open concept living/dining room/kitchen is perfect for relaxing after a day of hiking or hitting the slopes. With amenities like a wood burning fireplace, outdoor fire pit, game room and sauna this is the perfect retreat for adventure and relaxation.

Area activities: skiing/snowboarding, cross country, VAST trails, snowmobiling, mountain biking, kayaking, golf courses, adventure parks, museums, farms, farmers markets, leaf peeping, antiquing, & hiking.
Lots of hiking trails are available for all levels - easy, short local hikes right in our neighborhood and around Lowell Lake to more challenging hikes on the Appalachian Trail or hike to a waterfall on Lye Brook Trail.
The Space:
On the first floor you'll find two full bathrooms and three bedrooms...one with a queen bed and twin bunks, another with a full size bed and another bedroom with twin bunks, perfect for families! The second floor has one bedroom with a queen bed and a full bathroom, living room, dining room, and kitchen. It's a wonderfully bright open space with forest views. Ideal for sitting around and playing games near the wood burning fireplace, enjoying a movie on the TV, reading a book or cooking up a meal in the fully equipped kitchen. The rear deck has loungers perfect for stargazing. The third floor loft is where you will find the multi game table: Pool, Ping Pong & Air Hockey as well as a big comfy bean bag, a futon and plenty of board games.

- No events, parties, or large gatherings
- Must be at least 25 years old to book
- Hiking trails nearby, within the neighborhood
- Living Room has a Stereo with bluetooth for music

- Living Room TV w/ Peacock app, other streaming apps available w/ your own log in
- Game room with 3-in-1 table; pool, ping pong & air hockey
- Relax in a Sauna
- Fire pit & chairs for roasting marshmallows outdoors (not setup when snow covered)
- Outdoor Horse Shoe Game on property (not setup in the winter)
- 2nd Floor Bedroom/Okemo has a separate/private side deck, perfect for morning coffee outdoors (not setup in the winter)
- New Washer & Dryer on the 1st Floor

- The property does not offer A/C but we do have fans. We don't miss the A/C at all.
- Please be considerate of neighbors and respect quiet hours after 10pm
- The dirt road has a 15mph speed limit
- 4WD or AWD is highly recommended to access the property in winter
- Your safety matters. This property features 2 exterior security cameras, located above the backyard and front yard, all facing outward. They do not look into interior spaces nor onto deck spaces. (no cameras inside)
- Please be aware that inclement weather may lead to power outages or internet disruptions. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide refunds for circumstances beyond our control, such as power or internet loss.

Great house. So close to resorts and Grovery and restaurants. There was 7 of us. Comfortable and great layout. Thanks for hosting us for my sons 19th birthday!

We loved our stay at Twin Brook Lodge. After a full day of skiing at Okemo (30 min drive), we enjoyed sitting together by the welcoming fire and playing games. The open living room and kitchen area was very functional for our group. The kitchen had everything we needed for making meals at home. The loft/game area above the living room was a great space for the kids to hang out. The house is clean, tastefully decorated, and has a retro feel but updated amenities like bathrooms and laundry. The sauna was a great bonus after a day on the slopes! Communication with the owners was great and they were very accommodating. Would highly recommend!

The Tranquil Mountain Chalet was a great space for our annual family ski trip—plenty of bedrooms/bathrooms for everyone. The kitchen was well-equipped, and there was plenty of space for hanging out. The best part was getting back to the cabin after long days of skiing and sitting near the fire. It's a great location as well. Centrally located to multiple ski resorts.

The house is very tastefully decorated and impeccably clean. Great fireplace and living room layout, especially for families. Modern and updated bathrooms and bedrooms. Looking forward to next year.
