About this cabin rental
The Montana Experience. Located halfway between the towns of Helena and Townsend. The Cabin at Elkhorn Spring is set in the quaint and quiet corner of our 4H/hobby farm. We live in the adjacent home, but don't worry, with 6+ acres of ground, we may not even bump into each other. At the same time, if you need anything during your stay, we're right next door. This spring-fed pond-side retreat is a great place for a getaway or an excellent basecamp for your Montana excursions. The cabin property is fenced and offers large shade trees, fire pit, yard games, picnic table, and a lovely deck. The pond, Big Belt Mountains, large variety of songbirds, and incomparable sunrises and sunsets are just a few of the views that this property offers.
We are nestled in the Elkhorn mountains, an elk hunter’s paradise. Close to Canyon Ferry reservoir, hiking, biking & snowmobiling trails, and many more recreational opportunities await.
GUEST CAPACITY
We can accommodate up to 6 guests. 3 bedrooms, 1st has a Queen size bed, 2nd bedroom with 2 twin bunks, 3rd has a Queen size bed as well. One pack-n-play is available for guests.
A game room is located in the cabin and is furnished with a table, chairs, and several games.
PET POLICY
Dogs are welcome (2 maximum) but NOT ALLOWED on furniture or bedding! Please bring a crate if leaving fur baby during outings as well as for sleeping at night. Please, keep animals on leash to protect our farm animals. Owner is liable for any damages to the property caused by pets. Extra charge for pets will apply.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
There is parking for up to 2 vehicles. Please drive slow & be cautious driving in and out.
Onsite parties or group events are strictly prohibited. Large or small.
Strictly NO SMOKING inside OR outside.
Safety features at this property include a carbon monoxide detector, a fire extinguisher, a smoke detector, a first aid kit, and a deadbolt lock.
We are honored to share our little slice of paradise with you. Note that this property is separate, but located on our hobby farm acreage, where the white farmhouse serves as our primary residence. Please be respectful of this and reach out to us if you would like to visit the animals (goats, pigs, sheep, bees, etc.). Again, the entire cabin and the fenced property is all yours to enjoy!
A LA CARTE AMENITIES
While we provide locally roasted Keurig pods upon your arrival, let us know and we can have a bag of local, freshly roasted coffee beans from Galaxy Roasting available as well ($16).
Personal shopping - let us take care of getting the fridge, freezer and pantry stocked for you before your arrival. Just send us your shopping list! (25% up-charge).

We only had the opportunity to stay one night, but were so impressed that we have decided that is where we will be having our full vacation next year. It was clean, spacious, beautiful, and even had a game room.
