About this house rental
2000 square foot private Kentucky lake front home. Beautiful views of Jonathan Creek Bay from every room. Great kitchen with granite countertops. 20x 35-foot great room with floor to ceiling windows facing the lake and wood burning fireplace for chilly nights. Deck and screened porch facing lake Good wi-fi. Sits on approximately 3.5 acres plus TVA land. Great for families, duck hunters, fishermen, etc. Long term rental welcome as well. The house sits directly facing the lake at the end of a long driveway. We have a lot of wildlife including deer that are there all year, pelicans that are there off and on from Sept through May, and bald eagles that begin appearing in Oct to repair their nest in the pine tree by the driveway in the front yard. The eagles begin nesting in Jan. and both of them plus eaglets are often seen from late Feb until May. The nest is easiest to see from the landing of the stairs leading to the dock. If you look back from there over the top of the house, you can see the nest in the top of the pine tree. We also have the usual assortment of birds plus a family of pileated woodpeckers. If birdwatching is not your thing, fishing is available from the dock from April through Sept. You can also just relax with a good book or hike in the woods. At the end of our road less then 1/8th of mile away is ATV trails and we are 9 miles from Turkey Bay.

Everything went very smoothly. Heather answered all my questions right away. The house and dock are beautiful. Had no problems keeping our boat there. Perfect, quiet get away.

It was a nice home, sleeps 6 adults. Great for boating or jet skiing. We paddle boarded during our stay. Went to Paducah for things to do and grocery store.
